On 13th and 14th of January, 2021 State Secretary for Relations with the Church and Ethnic Communities of Hungary, Mr. Miklós Soltész visited Petrinja and Zagreb.

In Petrinja State Secretary Soltész had a consultation with State Secretary of the Minister of Foreign and European Affaires, Mr. Zdenko Lucić, with whom they viewed the buildings to be rebuild by Hungary.  Miklós Soltész announced that Hungary will reconstruct the building of the I. Petrinja Elementary School and the Church of St. Nicholas and Vitus in Žažina.  

With the help of the Hungarian government 200 children living in Sisak-Moslovacka County can go to holiday camp to Velence lake in Hungary. The Hungarian government will also finance the trip of a group of pilgrims travelling to 52nd International Eucharistic Congress to Budapest.

In Zagreb State Secretary Soltész and Gordan Grlic Radman, Minister of Foreign and European Affaires discussed the current bilateral issues and the possibilities of the further cooperation of Hungary and Croatia.

On 14th of January, 2021, State Secretary Soltész visted the Church of the Assumption of Mary in Remete and met Ivan Šaško, auxiliary bishop of Zagreb.
