On the night of May 29 2018, the two world-wide famous folk ensembles, the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble (MÁNE) and LADO the National Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia put on a joint performance for the first time in Zagreb. The unique event sponsored by MOL and INA, which bore the name of “A Set of Folk Dances as Developed by the Hungarians and the Croats”, proved to be a great success.

The event’s special guest was Gordan Jandroković, Speaker of the Croatian Parliament. Other eminent guests that attended the event were Blaženka Divjak Minister of Science and Education, Marija Pejčinović Burić Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, Zdravka Bušić Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Miro Kovač chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee,  Jankovics Róbert  representative of the Hungarian national minority in Croatia, and Zvonko Milas State Secretary, State Office For Croats Outside The Republic Of Croatia.
