Hungary, as the largest foreign partner, took part between the 24th to 26th February 2017 on the 22th edition of the Virovitica International Exhibition and Fair (VIROEXPO 2017) with a total of 200 m2 exhibition area. The 20, Hungarian owned companies from the small and medium-sized enterprise sector, represented the food and agriculture, as well as construction area.
On behalf of the Hungarian Government Zsolt V. Németh, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture attended the opening ceremony and had a bilateral meeting with Tomislav Tolusic, Minister of Agriculture. After the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic visited the Hungarian exhibitors joint stand, were he had an opportunity to get known with the Hungarian food specialties, trademarks (“hungaricum”).
