The 28th Belovár International Agricultural Exhibition and Fair was held from 3 to 5 September 2021. The event was opened by Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.
After the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Plenković visited the stand of the Central European Trade Development Network Ltd. (CED), where he was welcomed by Ambassador Dr. Csaba Demcsák. On the stand 12 Hungarian companies presented their products and services. Thanks to the support of the CED, the Hungarian companies were able to present themselves on an indoor area of about 80 m2 and an outdoor area of 48 m2. At this year's fair, only Hungary was represented with a joint stand. This year, the Hungarian stand also featured unique tastings of sugar-, preservative-, gluten- and lactose-free foods.
On the sideline of the event, Ambassador Csaba Demcsák held a meeting with the Hungarian companies and met with Marko Marusić, the head of Bjelovar-Bilogora County, Zlatko Salaj, the director of the fair, and gave a radio interview to the Croatian Alpha Radio. During the interview, Ambassador Dr. Csaba Demcsák stressed that Hungary will host several world-class events this autumn, such as the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainability Expo and World Meeting, the One with Nature World Hunting and Nature Exhibition, as well as the National Agricultural and Food Exhibition and Fair.
