The event was organized by the Hungarian Embassy in Zagreb as the host event of the Planet Budapest 2021 Sustainability Expo and World Meeting, in cooperation with the Central European Economic Development Network. The primary goal of the Conference was for Hungarian companies and their representatives to get acquainted first-hand with the ideas of Croatia's sustainable development policy and further developments or specific project plans.

The conference was opened by Ambassador Dr. Csaba Demcsák, Péter Kiss-Parciu, Deputy Secretary of State for Regional and Cross-Border Economic Development, Stella Arneri, Deputy Secretary of State for European Territorial Cooperation, and Róbert Jankovics, Member of the Hungarian Minority Parliament and President of the Democratic Community of Croatia.
