The Hungarian Institute in Zagreb and The Zsolnay Fundation Kft. are organising a series of cultural events under the name „Cultural delights from Pécs”. Pécs, a 2000 years old city and European Capital of Culture in 2010 is visiting Zagreb between 5th and 7th of May.

Friday, 5th of May - Hungarian Institute in Zagreb
17:00 – Pécs life/pictures – the exhibition of the Mecsek Photo Club and photographers from Pécs, that will be opened by László Őri Ph.D. deputy mayor of Pécs
18:00 – String Quartet Concert by members of the Pécs Philharmonic, performing works by Alexander Glazunov and Claude Debussy
Saturday, 6th of May – Hungarian Institute in Zagreb
17:00 – Pécs's literature in Croatian: presentation of works by Sárosi István
18:00 – Concert by Vivát Bacchus– one hour of vine songs and fun
19:00 – Wine tasting: the world of wines from Pécs and Villány
Sunday, 7th of May
8:45 – Vocapella choir will sing during the Hungarian mass in the Church of Saint Mark (Saint Mark's square 5)
10:00 – Vocapella choir will continue their concert in the headquaters of Hungarian Cultural Sociaty „Ady Endre” (Martićeva 8)
