Inauguration of the Honorary Consul of Rijeka and opening of the Hungarian House in Rijeka

On 8 January 2021, Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, opened the Hungarian House in Rijeka in the presence of State Secretary Frano Matušić and Hungarian MP of the Croatian Parliament, Mr. Róbert Jankovics, and inaugurated Hungary's new Honorary Consul in Rijeka.

With the opening of the Hungarian House in Rijeka in Anna Villa, the Hungarian national minority of about five hundred people living in and around Rijeka got their own building.

Hungary's new Honorary Consul, Zoran Vukic, operates in Istria, Lika-Zeng and Seaside-Mountains counties. The seat of the honorary consul  is located in Villa Anna.
