The President of Hungary Mr János Áder awarded Mr. Ivo Stanicic, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Split with the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary. The award is the recognition of the two-decade long laborious and dedicated work of Mr Stanicic in his function as honorary consul, which was handed over to him by His Excellency, Ambassador Mr Csaba Demcsák at a decoration ceremony held in Split.
His Excellency, Ambassador Mr Csaba Demcsák paid an introduction visit at the Mayor of Split, Mr Ivica Puljak. During the discussions they covered the achievements and future plans of cooperation between Hungary and the Republic of Croatia and in particular the possibilities to develop relations with Dalmatia and the city of Split.
