The Hungarian Embassy in Zagreb organized a meeting of HoMs in Osijek to present the institutional system and culture of the Hungarian minority in Croatia as a pioneering and exceptional initiative in the practice of EU presidencies. As part of the program, the EU ambassadors visited the Hungarian Educational and Cultural Center in Croatia, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Afterwards, during a working lunch with Róbert Jankovics, the Hungarian representative of Sabor, they were given a detailed overview of the situation of Hungarians in Croatia and the institution and community building work led by the HMDK. As part of the HoMs program, the mission leaders visited Szabó Vinery, a Hungarian family business based in Karanac.
